I know from personal experience that seeking support can be scary and uncomfortable. I am a caring and dedicated therapist who provides a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative approach. My goal is to build a genuine connection that will help you navigate through difficult life transitions that can impact your thoughts, emotions, relationships and functioning. Many of life's challenging and unforeseen events can be accompanied by grief, loss, anger, resentment, doubt, shame, anxiety, and depression.
I have been practicing social work for over 25 years. My clinical experience includes working with individuals, adolescents, couples, mothers, and families facing a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, marital discord, postpartum mood adjustments, and grief and loss. In addition to private practice, I have worked in family counseling centers and spent over 15 years in children's hospitals, birthing centers, and Neonatal ICUs.
I am a bilingual (Spanish) and bicultural therapist and a Bay Area native. In my personal time, I enjoy outdoor activities, time with my family, and travel.
