ABOUT ME

I know from personal experience that seeking support can be scary and uncomfortable. I am a caring and dedicated therapist who provides a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative approach. My goal is to build a genuine connection that will help you navigate through difficult life transitions that can impact your thoughts, emotions, relationships and functioning. Many of life's challenging and unforeseen events can be accompanied by grief, loss, anger, resentment, doubt, shame, anxiety, and depression.

I have been practicing social work for over 20 years. My clinical experience includes working with individuals, adolescents, couples, mothers, and families facing a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, marital discord, postpartum mood adjustments, and grief and loss.

In addition to private practice, I have worked over 15 years in children's hospitals, birthing centers, and Neonatal ICUs. I specialize in perinatal mental health, offering crucial support to mothers and families navigating the emotional challenges associated with infertility, high risk pregnancies, birth trauma, and NICU experiences. I understand the complexities of the medical system and offer compassionate support to families navigating the long-term effects postpartum, and any complex health conditions of their child.

I am a bilingual (Spanish) and bicultural therapist, and a Bay Area native. In my personal time, I enjoy outdoor activities, time with my family, and travel.
