I offer three modalities:
A hybrid model seems to best meet my clients where they are. Even if Zoom sessions are our primary option, we can decide to meet in person or hit the pavement/trail.
Psychotherapy sessions are 50 minutes and my fee is $180 per session. Payment is expected after each session.
In compliance with Title 45, section 149.610 Code of Federal Regulations, I will provide a "Good Faith Estimate" of anticipated therapy costs to private pay clients at the start of treatment.
I am an out-of-network provider; therefore, unable to enter into any contracts with insurance companies. You may wish to contact your insurance company to discuss possible reimbursement rates. Insurance-ready statements will be provided monthly if deemed necessary.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
I work independent of insurance panels for several reasons. It allows the client and therapist to best determine the treatment modality and goals. Insurances oftentimes limit the number of sessions, require documentation, and a diagnosis before agreeing to cover more visits. Most importantly, your confidentiality regarding your mental health remains protected.
I accept cash and credit card. Credit cards are stored in my electronic health record and billed after session.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule your session. I have a 24-hour late cancellation policy. That means that if you do not attend your scheduled therapy session, and have not notified me within 24 hours of the appointment, you will be charged the full cost of the session.
Prior to your first appointment, a credit card will be required to reserve your session which will be uploaded in my secure electronic health record. This card will be charged for missed appointments or late cancellations.
The cost of services depends on a number of factors including your provider’s fee, frequency of services, and duration of treatment. You can receive an estimate of service costs as described below.
As of January 1, 2022, under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of expected charges for medical services — including psychotherapy services.
